pprep is a calm, parent-led learning lab. This page explains, in plain English, what information we hold, why we hold it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us — we'd rather explain than hide behind jargon.
Who we are
pprep is owned and operated by Cliq Health Technologies Ltd, a UK company. We are responsible for the information collected through pprep. You can reach us at hello@pprep.io, or by post at Oakpark Business Centre, Office Suite G1c, St Neots, Cambs, PE19 6WA.
Our approach to privacy
pprep is built to be privacy-first. We don't show advertising, we don't use third-party advertising or analytics tracking, and there are no public profiles, child chat or leaderboards. We aim to collect as little information as we reasonably can to run a gentle, parent-led learning experience.
What we hold
The information we hold is limited to what pprep needs to work:
- Account details — the email address used by the parent or guardian to sign in.
- Learner profile — the child's first name or nickname, their year group, and any notes you choose to add.
- Learning activity — answers to activity questions, and the gentle confidence and enjoyment signals a child can tap after an activity.
- Parent notes, progress and rewards — reflections you record, target progress, and stickers earned.
pprep is deliberately designed without child-facing open text boxes intended to collect free writing.
Why we hold it
We use this information only to run pprep: to create your account and keep you signed in, to show the child their worlds and track gentle progress, and to let you — the parent or guardian — reflect on and support learning. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
The services we rely on
To run pprep securely we use a small number of trusted providers, who process information on our behalf:
- Supabase — secure database and sign-in.
- Cloudflare — delivering the site quickly and safely.
- Lovable — the platform we build and host pprep on.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces you see; your browser requests these from Google, which means Google receives your device's IP address.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Children's information
pprep is designed to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Children don't create their own accounts, and there are no public profiles, messaging or social features. We aim to keep the information held about a child to the minimum needed for the learning experience.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as your account is active and you're using pprep. You can ask us to delete your account and the information we hold at any time by emailing hello@pprep.io.
Your choices and rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your information, including to access a copy of it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, and ask for it in a portable form. To use any of these, just email us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Our GDPR Policy explains these rights in more detail.
Cookies and local storage
pprep doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences — for example, whether sounds are on and which year group you're currently in.
Keeping information safe
We use reputable providers and sensible safeguards, including access controls, to help protect the information we hold. No service can promise perfect security, but we take this seriously and design pprep to hold as little as possible.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The date near the top shows when it was last changed.
